“ISIS burns fighters alive for letting Ramadi fall” January 12, 2016

American forces drove Islamist radicals out of Ramadi at considerable cost in 2006. Then we permitted ISIS to retake it. Iraqi forces have now driven ISIS out of Ramadi again, at considerable cost.

 

These folks aren’t exactly overly saturated with the milk of human kindness:

And reports that I heard this morning indicate (a) that the number of foreign fighters who’ve joined ISIS has soared from approximately 20,000, last year, to roughly 36,000 this year, and (b) that ISIS may now be experimenting with battlefield use of chemical weapons such as mustard gas (well known from the trenches of World War One and prohibited by all international law), with the possible intent of shipping such weapons to foreign countries for deployment against soft civilian targets.
