I’ve often wondered how a British Catholic might feel, surrounded by all of the wonderful Anglican cathedrals that were, of course, originally built (and long owned) by Roman Catholics.
I have no real dog in the fight, of course. Still, I find the dwindling of the Church of England — both in numbers and in the vigor of its faith — culturally sad:
“Ugandan bishop to shun Anglican meeting until ‘godly order’ is restored”
On the other hand, I rather like this:
“Catholic worship returns to Henry VIII’s chapel for first time since 16th Century”
