We’re here in North Carolina to join in celebrating the graduation of one of our nieces from Duke University. She will receive a degree in mechanical engineering. Yesterday, we saw her commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. She’s already received assignment to a major air base in the Upper Midwest.
