The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has issued a video — featuring, among others, Elder Jeffrey Holland — about depression:

It’s all to the good, I think, that we’re discussing such things openly and frankly now.  Perhaps some who suffer from this terrible problem will be helped.
