Last night, about seventy-five officers, volunteers, and friends of the Interpreter Foundation gathered to celebrate its fourth birthday. We had a great meal, thanks especially to Bruce Webster, a long-time participant in our scripture roundtables who has just joined our board and who, it turns out, is an expert smoker of meats. A good time was had, I hope, by all.
Here are some statistics, current as of last night
There was a lot of good conversation, but a major highlight, I hope, was the showing of a nearly-finished 24-minute film devoted to the life and musical testimony of the late composer and Tabernacle organist Robert Cundick. We envision it as the first of a series of movies and derivative works that we’re calling Foundation Stones. We’re scheduled to begin filming on a new project in Kirtland, Ohio, late in September. This is a major new initiative.
We’re deeply grateful to all those whose energy, effort, talent, and financial support have made the work of the Interpreter Foundation possible. And more good things are on their way.
