But What About The Supreme Court????

I’ve already posted about this issue:

“On voting for Mr. Trump because of the Supreme Court”

Among my arguments is this: In order to have his hypothetical conservative judicial nominees actually confirmed, Mr. Trump needs a Republican Senate to confirm them. But he’s openly at war with a number of the Senate’s conservative Republicans, thus undercutting his own claim to care about judicial appointments.

To which, as further evidence of the Trump campaign’s lack of seriousness about the Supreme Court and other federal judgeships, I add this:

And now my superb former student Nate Oman, a graduate of Harvard Law School and currently a professor at the College of William & Mary’s law school in Virginia, calls my attention to this statement by an impressive list of conservative and libertarian lawyers and scholars. He himself is among the signers:

“Originalists against Trump”

But what about the Supreme Court????
