“Disappearing the Jewish Connection to the Temple Mount”

I myself have been told by certain Palestinians that there was never a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  I find this claim absurd; nothing in the Arab-Israeli conflict, nothing in the quest for a just and peaceful settlement, requires that we ignore the facts of history and archaeology.
