Political, and not really very suited for the Sabbath

It has been my practice, on the whole, not to post regarding political topics on the Sabbath and, so far as possible, to avoid political discussions on Sunday.

 

But there’s a presidential debate on Sunday night, and the breaking political news has been coming thick and fast.  For a politics addict such as I, the past thirty-six hours have been absolutely fascinating.

 

If you don’t want to ruin your Sabbath with this kind of stuff, I understand.  I’m going to try to keep my thoughts focused elsewhere, myself.  But Saturday night, during the two intermissions of Utah Opera’s quite solid production of Carmen by Georges Bizet, I was completely riveted to my cell phone.

 

So here’s some stuff I’ve been watching:

CNN has been uncovering more examples of incredibly crude and misogynistic Trump talk.
