Brekker's Aryan Man
Arno Brekker’s 1939 sculpture “The Great Torchbearer” (German: “Die Partei,” or “The Party”), a representation of idealized Aryan manhood, stood until 1945 in the courtyard of the Reich Chancellery in Berlin, where it was paired with another statue that was called “The Wehrmacht” (Wikimedia Commons)

This first article is longish, but it’s both serious and seriously chilling:

“How White Nationalists Learned To Love Donald Trump”

And then there’s this, from back in August:

“A White Supremacist Black Swan?  Why Donald Trump’s fringe white nationalist supporters matter.”

And here are some illustrations:

“Trump Rally Attendee Chants “Jew-S-A!” at Press (Video)”

“The Latest Ugly Rhetoric at a Trump Rally”

Evan McMullin has now become a threat, so he’s become a target:

You can listen to a self-described “white nationalist’s” pro-Trump and anti-McMullin robocall here.

And then there are these:

“DISGUSTING: White Nationalist Launches Robocall In Utah Attacking McMullin”

“Evan McMullin’s Response to an Attack by Trump Is Perfect”

And McMullin’s fellow Latter-day Saints are now being targeted, too:

“Evan McMullin Voters in Utah Warned of ‘Mormoncaust’ By Pro-Trump PAC”

“There’s A MORMOCAUST Coming If Utah Backs Evan McMullin”

Yet another minority group on the Trump hit list?

The famous comment from the anti-Nazi Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) is always worth remembering:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
