“Egyptian Mummy DNA Study Suggests Close Ties with Middle East, Europe”

These two statuettes, including the girl on the left holding a cat, were also found in Abu Sir al-Malaq, on the western bank of the River Nile to the south of Cairo. They are now in a museum in Berlin.
