In 1992, Robert L. Miller published a short but helpful article on Mormons and science in the semi-official Encyclopedia of Mormonism:

Those who like to portray the relationship of science and religious faith as one of constant warfare will find relatively little support for their portrayal in either Miller’s article or Mormonism generally.
