One of my favorite bad movies, years ago, was the classic 1970 spaghetti Western They Call Me Trinity, which features a hopelessly inept group of Mormon pacifists (including two beautiful girls who furnish the movie’s love interests) as a central (and comic) element in the plot.
But, it seems, the film’s depiction of Mormons wasn’t absolutely one-hundred percent accurate.

You may be aware of a brawl that erupted during a game between the Washington Nationals and the Devil’s own team, the San Francisco Giants. It principally involved Bryce Harper, of the Nationals, and Hunter Strickland, of the Devil’s team.
The fight has drawn considerable attention, even from political commentators. I offer the three articles below as evidence of this:
“Of Course Bryce Harper Was Right To Charge the Mound”
Bryce Harper, I’m proud to say, is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And, given his name, he’s very likely a relative of mine.
Who says we’re bland and boring?
