The Jungfrau, in its glory. — Turning south from Interlaken yesterday, we were greeted by essentially this iconic view of the Jungfrau — only with no clouds at all around it. (Image from Wikimedia Commons.) Having served in Interlaken for seven months of my mission and having visited the area more times than I can count during the decades since, I can testify that such a view, while far from rare, isn’t available every day. There’s a reason that Switzerland is so exquisitely green.
