I’ve always despised the romanticization of Che Guevara, the transformation of a murderous and possibly sociopathic communist thug into a dashing, iconic tee-shirt image.
And now we have the pending glorification of the co-author of the Communist Manifesto:

Scores of millions of people died as a direct result of the malevolent fantasies and idiotic ideas of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, and it irritates me very much to see comfortable folks, safe and secure, now treating them as a harmless ironic joke or even lionizing them as heroes.
