Relatively late last year, we decided that Interpreter: A Journal of Mormon Scripture should mark the pivotal holidays of Christmas and Easter with a special article on each Friday immediately before them. Not necessarily a scholarly article, but a reflective one, by a serious and seriously faithful person, that might be stimulating and inspiring for our readers and that would signal the immeasurable importance we ourselves recognize in the Advent, the Atonement, and the Resurrection of our Lord.
We were pleased to obtain an article for Interpreter by the acclaimed novelist Orson Scott Card for Christmas 2014:

Today, for Easter 2015, we offer another such piece, specially written for the readers of Interpreter. It’s very short, but it’s beautifully expressed and thoughtful:

We wish you all a wonderful Easter and Conference weekend.
