This map, drawn nearly a year ago and showing in gray the ISIS-controlled areas of Syria and Iraq at that time, is now rather out of date. But it demonstrates quite clearly, I think, that ISIS is no joke, not the “jayvee team” that Mr. Obama once so casually dismissed.
