The grave of Νίκος Καζαντζάκης (Nikos Kazantzakis), along the city wall in Heraklion, on the island of Crete.

The epitaph on his tombstone reads Δεν ελπίζω τίποτα. Δε φοβούμαι τίποτα. Είμαι λέφτερος (“I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free”).
