“National Review, conservative thinkers stand against Trump”

Donald Trump picked up the endorsement of Sarah Palin the other day.  I have no interest whatever in Ms. Palin as a political candidate, let alone as a political thinker, but I sadly admit that her backing will almost certainly benefit Mr. Trump.

I myself give much more weight to this:

Unfortunately, it’s probably far too little somewhat too late.

Angry Trumpites aren’t likely to care as their chosen demagogue cruises toward the Republican presidential nomination.  Why should they listen to a few pointy-headed intellekshuls from The Establishment?

Sigh.

Are we really going to have to choose between The Donald, on the one hand, and, on the other, either the not-yet indicted Hillary Clinton or the dour and dismal Comrade Bernie?

I think I’ll go read a few Jeeves and Wooster stories.  Or watch a Marx Brothers movie.  Or take some recreational Ambien.
