“The ‘Christian Watchman’ and Its Misguided Jab at Bountiful in the Book of Mormon”

Apparently, the young scholar Joseph Smith drew on, among others, the vast library resources shown in this painting to compose his “Book of Mormon” (including details about the microgeography of the ancient Arabian Peninsula).
