Map of North Dakota
My father was born about seventeen miles north of Devils Lake, North Dakota, which, by any reckoning, is reasonably close to the geographical center of North America. Which is entirely appropriate, since I’m declaring today that I myself am the geographical center of North America, wherever I happen to be at any given time.  (Government map in the public domain)

The question of determining a continent’s precise center is somewhat more difficult than one might assume at first glance.  But we can take comfort in the fact that, this being the United States of America, there’s a possibility of litigation!

Surprisingly, neither Manhattan nor Hollywood appears to be in the running for the title.
