This model of Jerusalem as it looked in AD 66, just before the First Jewish Revolt and the city’s destruction at the hands of the Romans, is one of my very favorite teaching devices. Now, Brigham Young University and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have joined together to create another superb tool for teaching and learning about the Jerusalem that Jesus knew, one that doesn’t require traveling to the Middle East.
