Good Cheer

Good Cheer

Work can have its ups and downs. There are those days when we bounce into work with a big happy grin, patting everyone on the back, itching to get started with our day. And then there are those days when we drag our tails across the threshold of our employer’s front door with barely enough energy to plop down in our seats and stare blankly into a computer screen.

We have good days and bad days. And then there are the days when we experience both.

So what can we do about the fact that we’re human and that we are subject to highs and lows, mood swings, nasty temperaments?

It might just come down to doing our best. The reality of our calling isn’t perfection. It’s obedience.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your hear, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.” Col 3:23-24
