And, third, there’s Sid, a 60-something contractor who keeps our Miracles classes filled with laughter as well as deep insights. He wrote a morning reflection the other day, and he has graciously agreed to let me share it.
(A note about his references to “10 seconds”: We talk in the classes about the fact that it only takes that long—or less—to tune into Spirit and receive comfort and guidance.)
So this is by Sid Tyler, an Iowa grandfather, fisherman, reader of Miracles….and teacher of wisdom.

Today I will cross over several thresholds, going from one room to the next.
From the outside to the inside, from discomfort to comfort, from my comfortable chair to my car going 70 miles per hour, from not using “10 seconds” to meditate, to taking “10 seconds” to retreat to another space, crossing over—finding at least a moment of peace.
“I stand at the door and knock” has a new meaning to me today. There is only a threshold that separates us. A line to cross over. A new space to enter into. A new space that is not the same. A space where new things are available.
What if I go there? What if I see the doorway and step over that threshold? What will I find on the other side? Something new. Something not normal. Mystery. Retreat. Sanctuary.
May Peace be with you today as you enter into your new space.
Wishing you Miracles,
Deb
