– "In my Father's House are many Mansions" and the Many Universes!

Last night, I was at the Barnes & Noble, where I happened to read “Strange Matters” by Tom Siegfried. He has discussed various “on-the-edge” and new scientific theories and thoughts! Over the next few days, I will share different things that I jotted down from that book with you and relate it to the writings of Vivekananda, Krishnamurti, and Vasishtha Yoga.

But for today I will quote portions from a paragraph that relates an assertion in Bible to the latest scientific thought and how the pastors – due to perhaps lack of rigor have completely misinterpreted it!

IN the King James Version, in John 14:2 we read:
“In my Father’s house are many Mansions”.
Biblical literalists might have a tough time with this passage. How could a “house” contain many “mansions”?

…. It makes no sense for something bigger than a house to be “in” a house. But in a way, the latest cosmological theorizing suggests that it is possible for something larger to be contained in something smaller. A whole universe, in fact, might fit into a space less than a millimeter wide. God’s house may contain many universes.

…If so, the known Universe may be just one of many “mansions” residing in the secret room of space’s hidden dimensions.
