I wonder if any of you have used this feature in the Firefox? This is as cool as it can possibly come! Now you can use the Gmail account as a storage directory! I have used this extension for my gmail and uploading files from my desktop to my gmail storage (basically as email attachments) is a breeze.. it creates some kind of a gspace folder somewhere.. and does it! If you are using Firefox – if you aint YOU SHOULD!!! – then GET this extension ASAP!
This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2 GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your hard drive and gmail. This is similar to "Gmail Drive" on windows platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files. After you install, you get an option called "GSpace" in your "tools" menu clicking on which opens the window for transfer of files/folders
