Wrong Airport, Cab ride… and Total Emptiness!

I am not sure what it is.. but somehow I keep running into people who will discuss spiritual stuff with me.. I returned to Houston from project.. but on the airport on the opposite side of the city.. and the funny thing is that I had parked my car on the other airport (from where I had taken off)! Anyways.. I looked around for a cheap shuttle.. and but the shuttle kiosk guy couldnt get a shuttle to come.. meanwhile this guy who owned a limo.. was going to Hobby.. and so said he can take me for $20.. cool .. I thought.. and hopped on. I was listening to his music which was pretty nice.. some Black singer who had died recently named Luther was singing… beautiful voice!

Then we started talking of Spiritual stuff. .. and he started discussing about the Chinese Tao stuff and arts.. and that he was into the Taichi etc.. he was describing some masters who could hold a staff in the air and it was difficult to move it then! Something like we have in our Mahabharta and Ramayan folk-lores… in fact one of these Masters even de-materialized himself.. and appeared elsewhere… which was pretty impressive though unbelievable story… but who knows!

He talked of Total Emptiness.. which I guess we all have.. just that we fill it up with the thoughts that we have accumulated all these years! What if the thoughts from our mind. could be eliminated.. and mind stopped. Not as in dementia.. but deliberate control.. have complete control over the activity of the mind. That is what Bhagwad Gita suggests.. I am at that point in time .. when I am getting ready to read Gita once more. Very soon.
