Beta Blogger – the new Blogger platform

Unbeknownest to many of us, Google has been revving up its blogging platform – blogger or blogspot! Blogger was always the first – and permanent for some – blogging platform for almost all bloggers at birth! Later most bloggers moved on. Few reasons were:

• no categories

• tardy update routine

• not enough features

Well things are achanging there. Blogger has come out with a Beta Blogger – which from my initial review is just awesome!! I love the thing because:

• it gives you the labels – for categorization

  provides you drag and drop customization

  ability to edit your blog design right on the page itself! Yeah that is cool!

  makes adding blogrolls and adsense and other such stuff much easier.. you dont need to change your template design any more to do that!!

The only issue so far is that there aren’t enough beta blogspot templates out there although a few folks – beautiful beta and all blog templates – have started efforts… but I am sure very soon things will pick up big time there too.

Btw, now you can use your google account and password – the one you use for gmail and google docs for this one too – so dont need to remember any new accounts and passwords!

So the most popular blogging platform.. which is free too.. just added a lot more panache!!
