Was the ball bowled by Ravindra Jadeja ball to Michael Clarke in 2nd Inning of Hyderabad Test, the “Ball of the Century”? It surely set India to register one of the biggest wins over the Aussies in history. But would you consider it so great?
Personally I would hold two wicket-taking balls bowled by (i) Karsan Ghavri in the 1981 Melbourne Test to get Greg Chappell clean-bowled which India went onto win; and (2) Balwinder Singh Sandhu’s wicket of Gordon Greenidge in the 1983 Cricket World Cup – as better than this one. Although it was very good and bowled, pitched, spun perfectly. For a spin bowler, this delivery is indeed a dream come true!
