I think it would be unfair on my part if I do not acknowledge the excellent Singapore Airport.  It is surely one of a kind.  Every terminal has some interesting gardens, with themes and also interesting fauna, and even fishes and butterflies. First of all, if you are a vegetarian like me and crave for the Indian food every now and then, go to the 3 level of Terminal 2 or 3 and you will find “Kaveri – Indian Vegetarian”.... Read more

Singapore is a very green and clean city.  I took a short hour and a half tour of the city, courtesy the airport tours.  The Guide was knowledgeable and funny and very engaging. I took some pictures in the city.  Some of the sites are spectacular though. [scrollGallery id=11] Read more

Media shamefully in India goes after the TRPs.  News is broadcast as if it is some drama.  The protagonists in the news also are treated with the same frivolousness.  Remember Barkha Dutt asking a man outside of the Oberoi Hotel during the 26/11 attacks, whose wife was caught inside the hotel – “How are you feeling”??  She went onto announce the room where his wife was holed up in – to the benefit of the terrorists. But that incident is... Read more

In Guwahati, Assam a young girl, student of class 11th was publicly molested by men – young and old – in full view.  They were ostensibly playing vigilantes and had access to a girl who wasn’t in her complete sense, so was easy target. In fact, she was completely disoriented! (Watch the video) This incident has deservedly shook the nation.  Specially from the feminists and those who believe Indian society as a whole is hypocritical and isn’t worth any reverence.... Read more
