BOM name attested in newly discovered Israelite seal

Israeli archaeologists recently discovered a seal with the name “Matanyahu.” http://www.timesofisrael.com/ancient-seal-found-in-jerusalem/ [I originally wrote that “As far as I am aware this names is not attested in the Bible” After I wrote this, friend of mind pointed out that the name Mattaniah occurs in 2 Kgs 24:17, 1 Chr 25:4, 2 Chr 29:13, which in Hebrew is MTNYHW. Book of Mormon Class

Jack Welch teaches a weekly adult stake Book of Mormon class each Thursday. He’s out of town for two weeks, and I’ll be substituting for him on Alma 43-52 this week and Alma 53-63 next week.
