I just heard the news about the passing of German Theologian Wolfhart Pannenberg. You can read a German news report posted by Jim West here. Fred Sanders has a great write up on the significance of Pannenberg here. His volume Jesus – God and Man is one of the best treatments on Christology in the 20th century. Probably the best studies on Pannenberg are by Stanley Grenz and John McClean (that I’m aware of any way). May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
