Blog Stats! – October 2010

Blog Stats! – October 2010 November 5, 2010

Hard to believe Faith and Finance has been going for a full month now!  With inspiration from a couple blogger friends (Crystal at Budgeting in the Fun Stuff, and Khaleef at KNS Financial – Faithful with a few) I am releasing the first ever Blog Stat Report for Faith and Finance.

As you know, Faith and Finance is committed to giving away HALF of the income that is produced through the site.  October only brought in a few cents (literally) and when there’s enough to distribute, we’ll start the polls and vote for the charities that will receive the funds!

A big THANK YOU to those who read Faith and Finance! Without you, my stats would be at 0.  Maybe 1…my wife is nice enough to read the blog : )

  • Tim,

Impressive stats for your first month! Keep up that great writing and I am sure Faith and Finance will continue to grow. Thanks, by the way, for mentioning my post.

  • keep at the hard work and you’ll be watching those numbers go up in no time!

  • I second Joe & Peter. Keep up your great writing and I’m sure Faith & Finance will do great. I’ve appreciated your perspective. Just remember to hang in there. It can take a while to grow and it’s a lot of hard work. I’ve grown slower than a lot of the other Christian PF blogs I’ve seen (maybe because of my writing style?), but I’m starting to see the fruits of my labor.

Blessings to you, Tim, as you continue to write and grow the blog!

P.S. Check out HOPE International as a possible charity. I was just at a breakfast they held today and they’re doing some great work!

  • Great job Tim! That’s impressive for the first month. Keep it up.

I see you have Google Analytics installed. Are you using the webmaster tools also? If you have questions email me.

Also, I sent you a message on Twitter saying I added you to my blogroll. Cool with you?

  • That’s a great first month! Fantastic really! Thanks for posting your numbers for us to peek at. :-)

  • Tim

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I really appreciate your input!

@Paul – I looked at HOPE International and think they’re an awesome outfit to support! Thanks for the suggestion!

@James – I’m going to set up the webmaster tools now that you reminded me :) If I run into problems, I’ll definitely shoot you an msg. Thanks for offering to help!!

  • Your numbers are very impressive considering the short life of your blog! I love how you displayed your numbers in a table (I think I may have to borrow that idea ;-)).

  • Wow! 500 visits in the first month! I think I may have had 20 lol. Keep up the fantastic work

  • Tim

@ Khaleef – Thanks! Haha, borrow away :) I think it helps with the look of things – and I can track the progress with one quick glance.

@ Evan – Thanks for the encouragement! I’m stunned at the support everyone has shown!

    I appreciate your comments!!
