9 Father’s Day Gift Ideas

With Father’s Day around the corner, you don’t have much time to shop for Dad. If you’re looking for a few ideas, these might be worth looking into!

Car Detailing

You have two options here: pay for it to be detailed, or detail it yourself. If you don’t have $50 – $100 to pay for someone to detail his car, set aside a few hours and do it yourself! Buying the materials won’t cost too much (roughly $30) and the bottles of Armor All and Soap will last for a while. father's day gift

Cookout supplies

A new grill is awesome – but a set of grilling tools can be just as nice. It’s just nice to have a good set of grilling equipment, which you can usually buy for around $25 – $50.

David’s Cookies

You might not get them before Sunday, but it’s worth it! If you’ve never had a tin of David’s Cookies, you should try it! Some of the best cookies I’ve ever had!

Omaha Steaks

Although it’s a little pricey, Omaha Steaks can be a great gift for Dad. Prices can range from $60 + so you might want to put the money towards the grilling equipment and some steaks from the store. I’ve been on the receiving end of an Omaha Steaks package and it was AWESOME.

New Bible

A new Bible is a great gift! If your dad doesn’t have the NLT (New Living Translation) or the 2011 NIV, you can expand his theological studies with a new Bible. ;)

iPhone Case

It’s no Bible, but you can still download the Bible on the iPhone. This is a cheaper gift that is really practical. I know I could use a new case about now…

Money Magazine Subscription

Is your dad a money guru? If he doesn’t already get Money magazine, get him a subscription. It’s a monthly magazine and costs about $20 for the year.

Gift card to Lowe’s

I love walking through Lowes – especially with a gift card! If you’d rather not spend hours looking through all those tools just to have them returned, spend about 3 minutes at the service desk and buy a gift card. Simple, fast, and thoughtful!

Sports tickets

With baseball season in full force, nothing says summer like a good game of ball. If you live near a major league team or minor league team, visit the team site to view the summer schedule. This might be a little pricey, but a baseball game can make for great memories!

Are you a dad? Any of these gifts sound good to you?
