8 Great Blogs to Read in 2012 January 12, 2012

If you’re looking to add a few great blogs to your reading list for 2012, here are a few suggestions.  I follow all of these blogs and enjoy the unique spin they give to personal finance.

Christian PF

If you’re not following Christian PF, start as soon as you can.  Actually, this is a great month to start because Bob (the founder) just launched the “Getting Started” series.  Bob is a great friend of mine and one of the reason why I started Faith and Finance – so head on over to Christian PF and show some love. :)

Free Money Wisdom

My good friend, Jon, is a great writer and awesome internet entrepreneur.  He’s doing some awesome stuff on Free Money Wisdom, including his Retire a Millionaire Course that he’s giving away for free!

Personal Finance by the Book

Check out Joe’s site for a well-balanced and personal approach to personal finance.  He has a great take on issues – especially if you’re a baby boomer. :)

Bible Money Matters

Peter at Bible Money Matters is always coming up with helpful articles about taxes, current events.  I really enjoy reading about his high returns that he shares in his Lending Club reviews.

PT Money

I had the chance to meet PT (Philip Taylor) last year and encourage you to check out his blog.  He’s a down to earth guy who delivers personal finance tips with that mentality.  Check out his 52 ways to save money article – it’s great stuff!

Budgeting in the Fun Stuff

Crystal is an awesome online entrepreneur.  I’ve followed her blog from the beginning and have been impressed and inspired by her success online.

Life and My Finances

Derek writes this blog and paid down $18,000 in 14 months. I started following his blog early last year and I enjoy following his success.

Frugal Dad

If you’re looking for a different type of personal finance blog, check out Frugal Dad.  I love the infographics on the site and they even have a “frugal dad scholarship.”  Definitely worth checking out this year!
