‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ Patti Stanger Used to Be Wiccan and a Psychic

Patti Stanger, the title ‘character’ on Bravo’s reality show Millionaire Matchmaker, filled out Us magazine’s “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” questionnaire. Normally, these pieces are pretty fluffy, with stars writing things like “My favorite color is lime green!” or “One time when I was five I skinned my knee!” However, Stanger’s list reveals something interesting – though she was raised Jewish, she used to practice Wicca. I’d love to know the extent of her Wicca practice and how long it lasted, because I knew a lot of girls in high school who identified as Wiccan because they saw The Craft a bunch of times and bought some Tarot cards.

Stanger also claims that she used to be a practicing psychic, which makes me wonder whether she a) isn’t practicing anymore because she found a more lucrative career path or b) isn’t practicing anymore because she isn’t actually a psychic. (I’m sure that Allison “Know This” Dubois from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills could help us out here.) Also, was she a psychic the same time she was a Wiccan? I am going to need to know more than 25 things about you, Patti.
