Is Drew Barrymore Converting to Judaism?

Rumors about celebrities’ potential religious conversions seem to be all the rage these days. There were rumors that Paul McCartney might convert for his new wife Nancy Shevell, but so far those haven’t panned out, so now it’s time for a new target: Drew Barrymore, who got engaged to art consultant Will Kopelman last month. In Touch magazine claims that Drew is planning to convert before marrying her fiance and that her friend Adam “The Zohan” Sandler has been instrumental in helping her get the process started.

For those of you playing along at home, there are some celebrities who have converted to Judaism because of a marriage, including Isla Fisher (Sacha Baron Cohen), Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards (her husband Mauricio Umansky is in the tribe), and Sandler’s own wife, Jackie Titone Sandler. There’s also word going around that Natalie Portman won’t marry fiance/baby daddy Benjamin Millepied until he converts.
