All that’s been missing for the last seven years was a tree and a rope. The Republicans have all but openly lynched President Obama. Now with the Scalia death and nomination fight they are–once again–disrespecting our first black president in an unprecedented way.
“Obstruction” hardly covers it when it comes to what the GOP did to President Obama from Day One, from government shutdowns to lying. Now we come to the Scalia death and succession fight the Republicans are once again reaching for a rope, ladder and gathering a smiling angry crowd of white bigots to find a tree.
(And by the way these bigots don’t speak for this white middle class 63-year old male who many years ago was a Republican before the party went to hell.)
To put this in truthful perspective I’m going to take the actual quotes from the Republicans then add what I think they were really saying to their bigot know-nothing followers in blatant “code.”
WHAT Kelly Ayotte SAID
“We’re in the midst of a consequential presidential election year, and Americans deserve an opportunity to weigh in given the significant implications this nomination could have for the Supreme Court and our country for decades to come,” Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) said in a statement Sunday. “I believe the Senate should not move forward with the confirmation process until the American people have spoken by electing a new president.”
WHAT I THINK Kelly Ayotte REALLY MEANT
“We’re in the midst of a consequential presidential election year, and white evangelical Americans deserve an opportunity to weigh in given the significant implications this nomination could have for keeping far right control of the the Supreme Court and our country for decades to come as brown people and uppity women become the majority and need to be kept in their place,” Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) said in a statement Sunday. “I believe the Senate should not move forward with the confirmation process until the white American people have spoken by electing a new white male heterosexual evangelical president.”
WHAT Ron Johnson SAID
“I strongly agree that the American people should decide the future direction of the Supreme Court by their votes for president and the majority party in the U.S. Senate,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) also said Sunday.
WHAT I THINK Ron Johnson REALLY MEANT
“I strongly agree that the Bible-believing American people should decide the future direction of the Supreme Court by their votes for president and the majority white straight party in the U.S. Senate once we get rid of the n—–r!,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) also said Sunday.
WHAT Mitch McConnell SAID
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has already told Obama not to expect any success, saying the Scalia vacancy “should not be filled until we have a new President.”
WHAT I THINK Mitch McConnell REALLY MEANT
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has already told Obama not to expect any success, saying the Scalia vacancy “should not be filled until we have a new white President and we can get the South to rise again and stop queers, and Mexican rapists from taking over our country!”
WHAT Ted Cruz SAID
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said Sunday he will “absolutely” block anyone President Obama names to the Supreme Court, no matter who the nominee is.
“Absolutely,” Cruz said on ABC’s “This Week” when asked if he would filibuster any nominee. “Let the election decide it. If the Democrats want to replace this nominee, they need to win the election.”
“This is a lame-duck President. And right now, the court is exquisitely balanced,” he said of the eight justices split along left-right lines.
Cruz said the Senate does “not remotely” have an obligation to at least consider a nominee under its constitutional mandate to advise and consent on court picks.
“You know what? The Senate is advising right now. We’re advising that a lame-duck President in an election year is not going to be able to tip the balance of the Supreme Court,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“If liberals are so confident that the American people want unlimited abortion on demand, want religious liberty torn down, want the Second Amendment taken away, want veterans memorials torn down, want the crosses and Stars of David sandblasted off of the tombstones of our fallen veterans, then go and make the case to the people. I don’t think the American people want that,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
WHAT WHAT I THINK Ted Cruz REALLY MEANT
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said Sunday he will “absolutely” block anyone President Obama names to the Supreme Court, “no matter who the nominee is because I don’t give a shit about the constitution because God has told me I’ll be president for such a time as this! How else but through the supreme Court can whites hang on to power? Don’t think I’ll do it? Try me! I risked the entire world economy by threatening to default on US debt just to stop the n—–r before! I’ll do it again!”
“This is a lame-duck godless uppity liberal. And right now, the court is exquisitely balanced with good Roman Catholic theocracy advocates who are slowly balancing the shift in population from white to brown by changing the laws to give us Christians the tools we need to keep the n——s down… forever. Apartheid is what we need and the Court is the key. ,” he said.
Cruz said the Senate does “not remotely” have an obligation to at least consider a nominee under its constitutional mandate to advise and consent on court picks given the president’s skin color. “His vote only counts for half a white man’s” Cruz said.
“You know what? The Senate is advising right now. We’re advising that a lame-duck n—-r in an election year is not going to be able to tip the balance of the Supreme Court in favor of justice,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“If liberal faggots are so confident that the American people want unlimited abortion on demand then let them move to Canada, they want religious liberty torn down, they want the Second Amendment taken away, and we want guns so we can be just like Iran and do to the fags and Jews and women, and n——s what the Bible says to do to people God says to hate!” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
