Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls

Jalapeno Popper Crescent Roll

Ingredients

  • ½ pound bacon, small dice
  • 8-ounce softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  •  1 medium jalapeno
  • 1 green onion, sliced thin
  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In a frying pan, fry the diced bacon until crispy. Drain well on a paper towel. Set aside
  3. Slice and de-seed the jalapeno then cut into a small dice and set aside.
  4. Thinly slice the green onion, set aside
  5. In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, bacon, jalapeno, cheddar cheese, and green onion and using a gloved hand, mix until well incorporated.
  6. Open the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  7. Place one Tablespoon of the cheese mixture into each triangle and roll the dough to form a crescent, then place each one onto a well-greased or lined cookie sheet, leaving room for them to expand a bit. (Double the recipe by cutting the triangles in half-length wise and using ½ Tablespoon filling)
  8. Bake for 11-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool a bit and enjoy with your favorite dip,
