
It would make me smile, if it were not dramatic, what happened after Cardinal Sarah’s statements with the subsequent denial by he Holy See Press Office. The orientation of the priest in the Mass is the subject of dispute. I think it would be good to understand that we must not expect from this Church great changes or reform of the reform (in fact, we cannot even use these terms according to the Press Office). Now the Mass celebrated in an average parish is considered normative, even though everyone knows that its quality and the abuses that affect the same Mass are constantly increasing.
Those who are concerned about the dignity of the liturgy, are condemned to live on the edge of a system that now looks in other directions.
