Farewell, Patheos

Some personal news:

I’ve decided to migrate away from Patheos and begin blogging exclusively at my personal site, which will be launching soon. Patheos has been a tremendously rewarding experience for me. Bart Gingerich, the editor of the evangelical channel, invited me to come blog at Patheos last summer, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. This move is bittersweet, but it will allow me some personal branding and editorial options that I’m very excited to have.

I’ll be closing up shop here sometime near the end of October. I want to offer a hearty thank you to all readers of this blog, and I hope you’ll continue to read even as I move elsewhere. I also want to thank Bart Gingerich for his personal friendship and help during this year, and for his stalwart and brilliant leadership of the evangelical channel. The channel is full of smart, faithful writers, and much of that is due to his vision.

I’ll be posting the link to the new site when it launches. Keep an eye out for that.
