One of the words in my life had to do with speaking before 1,000’s. This same word has been spoken repeatedly from the time I was young, in many different ways, many different locations, and from many different people.

I’m sharing a quick vlog after a run on a trail that I like.

I’m filming in an interior part where there are a bunch of wildflowers. There are bees bumbling along just going about their day.

Last week I shared an actual journal entry, which I very seldom do. I usually look at those really close to see if they’ll make sense to my readership.

i. I don’t like to share journal entries…

It makes me feel vulnerable…
I usually share them with family and friends for prayer

So, I just shared with you because I am going through a time when I’m repurposing a lot of things, in a period of discerning.

Last week’s entry was based on a challenge from a friend to look back on where I was when I was 40. I have other entries like it that I may or may not share.

*Who knows if these brief thoughts will encourage you? From a counseling standpoint, there are countless people making major life decisions during this global crises we’re facing.

ii. I still believe in prophecy…

the Gifts of the Holy Spirit…
and I shared one instance with you

I believe in wonderful things the Holy Spirit does in the church that are miraculous. One of those is called prophecy, when there is something spoken as it would have been spoken from God.

Now, we are men. We are not people who write the Bible. We are not authors of the Bible, but there are times when we can still be used by God to clarify something, or bring a word so to speak.

This same word has been spoken repeatedly from the time I was young, in many different ways, at many different locations, and from many different people – who could not have known each other, or known my story. Some of them didn’t even know me. From these different people, the same word was spoken.

At about 40 years old, maybe a little bit younger, I started to realize that if I added it all up, I had stood before 1000’s of people. There were also specific times in my life when I had stood before one crowd of a 1,000 or more.

I share this not to brag or to put myself out there. It’s to share with you…

God does fulfill prophecies…
Perhaps He has fulfilled prophecies already in one way or another…
If we just stop and allow Him to add it up for us

It’s quite a humbling experience when we take a look back and see what God has done.
