10:15 PM really isn’t that late, is it? After all, people stay up much later on a Saturday night. Not too long ago my family used to have pizza and a couple movies on Friday night, stay up late.
So what is worth reading at this time of night?
First, maybe I should ask what is worth listening to?

This has helped me through a tremendously difficult week. Now I am on the other side. I feel like the road has been rough. However, it’s going to become smooth. It’s going to be like going from a dirt road to smooth pavement. It’s not an original thought, but it is one that I believe I can claim for my own. Sometimes what is meant for someone else resonates with me as well.
John 1.14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
John is referring to Jesus as the Word in this Passage. When I read the Bible, I am getting to know Jesus better.
Jesus Christ became flesh. He clothed himself in human skin. He is fully God and fully man. Everything I face as a man, Jesus faced. He knows what I went through this week. He has experienced stress. Therefore, He can empathize like no one else. More than anything, I need to know that He knows what it’s like to be human. God is reminding me that Jesus is not only fully God, he is fully man. How I need to be reminded this week! He clothed himself in human skin.
Lord dwell among us this week, all of my family on both sides who are facing these difficulties as well.
