God Uses Hornets to Protect His People

God Uses Hornets to Protect His People is a simple thought reflection from Joshua 24:12 about the way that God can use hornets, or any of His creation to protect His people.
“I sent the hornet ahead of you, and it drove out the two Amorite kings before you. It was not by your sword or bow.” (Joshua 24:12, HCSB)
God uses bees (ok, so technically hornets) to chase His enemies. I don’t know, but I think that is really cool. The people of Israel would think it was because of their armies. The fact is that God uses all kinds of ways to protect His children. We may prepare ourselves for defense.
In the Bible, God uses His creation in various ways to protect His people. He splits the Red Sea to move His people on dry land. He then takes the water from that Sea and drowns the enemies of His people. He takes an earthquake and creates a valley for His people to walk to safety. He takes His hornet army (not His angelic army) to chase away the enemies of His people. God can use His creation to protect us.
