Prophecy Watch: Simultaneous Events in Various Places is a simple thought reflection from Matthew 24:6-7 about the way in which some prophetic events will all happen at the same time.

“You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” (Matthew 24:6–7, HCSB)

With the uprisings and civil wars taking place in Ukraine (see these reports from CNN, from the Washington Post, and from the local newspaper in English you can get the latest news), Venezuela, Syria, Egypt, and Libya, you might think that the world is going to end.

One should note that according to the Bible, Russia’s influence represents a kingdom, not just a country. This goes also for the European Union. When you compare the Biblical kingdoms to today’s countries, the kingdoms never really ended. This verse also says that famines and earthquakes will also happen in various places.

You can easily notice that all these events are taking place simultaneously. This simultaneous nature of the events will increase in intensity. Earthquakes will get worse. Weather patterns will increase and get worse. Wars and rumors of wars will increase. The tension between nations will increase.
