Christian Sexual Behavior and the Voices of Society

Christian sexual behavior and the voices of society seem to always be in conflict with one another. God has a plan for Christians, and it is very different than what society teaches. In matters of sex, God has a specific plan (“there can be only one”) and this involved having sex with only your spouse – after you are married.

Yet, society will shout many other ideas. The voices of society shout many different ways of having sex. The kind of behavior that society will encourage is totally against what God plans for you. Below is a chart that illustrates the difference between what God expects from Christians, and what society expects.

As you can see, there are many more options when we listen to society, but none of them are healthy. As a matter of fact, all of the options that society will shout to you never bring sexual fulfillment. They all SAY that it fulfills, but in the end, there is emotional emptiness, mental misunderstanding, and social shocks to each person involved. That is why it is best to listen to what God says about sexual behavior.
