In the spiritual and metaphysical world, there are certain topics that are highly popular, and rightly so. Cleansing and protection are one of the basics of metaphysical practice and therefore get a lot of attention. Love is another topic that gets a lot of coverage. But money is the thing that is on people’s minds the most right now.
Harvest Season
As we wind down the summer and look ahead to the autumn, we are entering the harvest season. In Wicca and Witchcraft traditions, August 1 is known as Lughnasadh or Lammas, and is considered the first harvest. The autumnal equinox on September 22 is known in these traditions as Mabon and is considered the second harvest of the season. Those who work on farms or have gardens are likely preparing to bring in their final harvest for the year within the next month or so. Harvest season also brings us into the season of gratitude and taking stock of what we have.
Even though we are moving into the fall, into harvest and gratitude season, that does not mean that we stop manifesting. Working with the cycles of nature lends extra energy to our workings, but our manifesting never stops.
Gratitude
Gratitude goes a long way on a spiritual path. I find that when asking for something, it helps to show your gratitude for the things you already have. If you are doing money manifestation work, it may not hurt to tell your guides and deities that you are grateful for the job you already have, or the opportunities you already have. If we show our appreciation for what we have, perhaps the Universe will be more generous with us. Showing gratitude and being thankful for what we do have is a good practice to have. And although it could influence our gods to be more generous with us, that is not why we should cultivate that mindset.
Candles for Money Work
There are many different approaches to manifesting abundance and prosperity. Do what feels comfortable or right for you. If you are looking for a powerful spell that is easy to use, I often recommend candles. The longer the candle burns, the more energy is put into the Universe on your behalf. You have plenty of options of candle size, so you can find the one that works best for you. Candles are easy because they don’t require a lot of supplies or money, and once you light them the magic is working.
Your local metaphysical store likely has a variety of candles for money magick. You can use a plain green, gold or silver candle or find one that was made specifically for money work such as money drawing, fast cash, or easy street. Regardless of what kind of candle you decide on, it’s always beneficial to program that candle for your own, specific use.
You can add herbs and oils and gemstones to candles that will attract money. Pray over your candle, while aksing your deities and guides to help you. You can write a spell or petition and set it under the candle while the candle burns down. You can also create a sigil for money drawing and place it under or even on the candle while you burn it.
Color Magick
Color psychology plays a big part in manifestation. When manifesting money, you typically want to use colors the remind you of money: green, gold or silver. But there are always exceptions to the rules. The color white is a powerful color and can be substituted for any other color. And red is a color of fire and action. You can use red on any working to speed up the timing of your request. If you need fast money, try red.
Gemstones for Money Spells
Gemstones are another great way to aid in your spell work. You can carry them with you, or wear them. You can add them to candles, set up crystal grids or place them in your home. Your money drawing gemstones are typically going to be those whose color is green or gold, although there are always exceptions to the rules. Personally, some of my favorite money gemstones are citrine, green aventurine, malachite, gold, and pyrite.
Herbs, Plants, and Oils to Manifest Money
Many of your kitchen herbs are great for attracting prosperity. Basil, bay, allspice, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and ginger are all good prosperity herbs. It is harvest season, which means it is also pumpkin spice season. Regardless of how you feel about pumpkin spice, the blend is an amazing combination of prosperity herbs. Even if you don’t like to eat or drink it, adding a jar to your magickal cabinet may not be a bad idea.
You can also use chamomile, lavender, five finger grass, goldenseal and many others. You can dress your candles with these herbs, add them to a mojo bag, or even use them in your cooking to attract prosperity.
If working with the actual plants is not something that you can do or want to do, you can also use oils for your spell work. The essential oils of any money drawing herb will aide your work. There are also a variety of intentional oil blends to attract money, prosperity, and success.
Go Forth and Manifest Money
You can use all of these suggestions together to manifest money, or pick and choose. You can add your prosperity gemstones to a mojo bag with money drawing herbs to carry with you or place at work. Or you can put them in a jar to create a prosperity jar spell. It is impossible to list all the possibilities here, and that would be boring. One of my favorite parts of magick is experimenting and finding out what works best for me. Or which combination of things I like the best. Your magick will be most potent when it comes from you, and not someone’s else recipe you found on social media.
Regardless of which method you choose, there is a tool or an aide for everyone. I hope this harvest season brings you prosperity and success.
