After the Civil Divorce – You may want wear the ring through the divorce process, until the marriage is legally over.
After An Annulment – The ring is a sacramental sign of the marriage. Taking it off can bring a feeling of spiritual closure when a declaration of nullity has been decided by a Marriage Tribunal.
Needed Money – Divorce often cuts a household income in half, making it hard to make ends meet. Sometimes selling the ring provides a bit of extra money to make it through a financially difficult time.
