Heaven on Earth_Solstice Full Moon

Today, sun & moon shine longest, fullest, brightest. It’s a rare moment in space where solstice and full moon coincide.

As above, so below. On earth, we mark the transition from spring to summer, and fall to winter, respectively. Throughout time, souls of all kinds have danced in the light of the longest day of the year, and honored the stillness of the longest night of the seasonal cycle.

We’re wired to acknowledge the shifts in consciousness expressed by nature. What’s in the eye of heaven is in our eyes, too. The spotlight’s on; see, discern, and choose. The fullness of the moon signals our souls to look at the fullness in front of us. What’s there to harvest? What’s so ripe you can taste its sweetness just by beholding it?

Our bodies, no matter how straightened into shape by modern civilization, forever resonate with the breath of life. Grace is pouring on us continuously; if we stepped out from under the roof of ignorance, mockery, and denial we’d be rejuvenated daily by the dew of life herself.

So, make today special. Mark it. Whether you immerse yourself in a ceremony or just take a moment to honor the transition and wink at the moon, your spark of light will make difference. It’ll restore the presence of heaven on earth.

May roses delight your senses everywhere. May strawberries outline the shape of your heart. May your spirit cavort in the field of the vibrant honey moon. May your light pierce the darkness of this world. Amen.
