On this day before the Election, a reminder

Just a reminder for those getting the “There’s blood on your hands if you vote Democrat” stuff:

“A Catholic would be guilty of formal cooperation in evil, and so unworthy to present himself for Holy Communion, if he were to deliberately vote for a candidate precisely because of the candidate’s permissive stand on abortion and/or euthanasia. When a Catholic does not share a candidate’s stand in favour of abortion and/or euthanasia, but votes for that candidate for other reasons, it is considered remote material cooperation, which can be permitted in the presence of proportionate reasons.” – Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger

We do not have a prolife party. We have two parties who support abortion. One of them is 100% responsible for the establishment and entrenchment of our abortion regime by their Roe and Casey decisions (the latter arrived at when the Court was 7-2 Republican with a prolife Dem) and has re-funded Planned Parenthood eight times since Trump took office.

The other party is the Democrats.

One party, in addition to supporting abortion, also supports policies that exert enormous economic pressure on poor mothers to abort, starving 13 million Yemeni, caging children at the border, mocking the disabled, mocking sexual assault victims, robbing the poor and elderly of medical care so they die, sending bombs to political opponents, jailing them without trial, fomenting hatred of Jews, calling for carpet bombing desperate men, women, children, and glorifying a lying, grifting, sex predator who denies, excuses and defends bone-sawing living human beings because the people who do it are paying him huge amounts of graft.

The other party is the Democrats.

You cannot vote for the lesser of two evils. But you absolutely can and must vote to lessen evil.

This fall, I voted Democrat, not merely with a clean conscience, but under the conviction that if I do not do so, I sin against Almighty God in failing to fight the gravest domestic threat to my country since the Civil War.

You should and must vote to destroy the grip of the Cult of Trump on power.  Get out and vote tomorrow.  Do what is right.
