When Fr. Frank Pavone committed what his own bishop called an act of desecration…

…by putting the corpse of an aborted baby on an altar and giving a 45 minute stump speech for Trump live on line, the usual cries “You must never attack a holy priest” went up.

Apparently that’s only true for priests on the correct side of the Culture War:

I don’t have anything invested in Fr. Martin.  I couldn’t tell you five words he’s written or said. And I don’t mind people arguing with him any more than I minded people arguing with Fr. Pavone’s outrageous act of desecration.

But I do have something invested in not urging beatings to be administered to priests.
